Henry's Baptism

Welcome to the Catholic Church little buddy.  Kelly and Doug will be awesome godparents to you.  So happy I got to share Mother's day with this special occasion.

Baptism

Liberty was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church on June 19th, 2010. We had a family cookout and swam before the 5pm Saturday evening Mass. Following the Mass at St. Timothy's we dressed our little girl in the heirloom gown made from Two-Mom's wedding dress. Exhausted from squeezing into the gown, she fell asleep in Kelly's arms for awhile. Liberty's godparents, Kelly and Doug, promised to watch over her and help her with her faith journey. It was a special sacrament, and Deacon Dutch even called her his "favorite" because she smiled the moment he blessed her with oil.
