Henry's interview:
Favorite books: Anything Elmo, anything FROZEN, Brown Bear, Where's Spot, Moo Baa LaLaLa.
Favorite shows: Mickey Mouse clubhouse and FROZEN.
Favorite foods: Chipotle, crockpot shredded chicken chili, salsa, blackberries/rasberries,
Best words: mama, dada, uh oh, bye bye, cheese, juice, night night, book, ball, please, thank you, animal sounds (cow, dog, cat, sheep, lion, tiger, horse, alligator (cutest teeth chomp!), etc)
Best signs: milk, more, all done, no, yes head shake, please,
Personality: just this: https://plus.google.com/photos/113950548607099469105/albums/5994481955677047665?authkey=CPWw96LS0ouiCA
Quirks: calls his binkies "diddle diddle", Frozen books are his version of a security blanket, loves to ask me to roll down the window so he can wave bye bye to random people, when I ask him to "go wake up Liberty" from her nap - he runs down the hallway, opens her door, climbs up on her bed and they have the best time rolling/jumping around - reunited at last. He isn't as big of an eater as Liberty was...he still likes baby food pouches and milk in bottles. Goes down slides on his tummy by himself (backwards or face first)
Sleep: naps 10am and 2pm for 1.5 hours each. As soon as school ends for Liberty we'll drop that first nap - but right now I have him nap while she's at preschool!
Misc: Music class with Mrs. Colleen
STATS (16 months): Weight 23.5 pounds, Length 34 inches - 50% weight, 95th% height, first ever ear infection 16 months old.

Liberty (3) Henry (4 months)
We took both kiddos for their Dr. well-visits and came home with these stats:
Henry: 15 pounds and 27 inches - - 97% in height and 46% in weight.
Liberty: 34.8 pounds and 40 inches - - 96% in height and 86% in weight.
*readers beware, annoying mommy bragging to follow...
In other milestone news Henry is enjoying tummytime, grabs at toys and puts them in his mouth and is the smiliest/laughiest boy on the planet. He rolls and drools. He naps 2-4 times a day (usually 3 - 9am, 1:30pm and a snooze during dinner or in between those big 2 hour naps). We are trying to consistently get him to nap in his crib but it's touch and go. Some days he does, and some days we give up and put him in the swing. He still sleeps 7:30pm to 6:30am with the occasional wake up at 4am to cutely coo like a bird until I pop a binky in his mouth because I am not a nice mommy at 4am. We talk daily about wanting to move him to his room. He loves bathtime with Liberty, the TV, Sophie the Giraffe and when Daddy makes him dance to techno music.
Liberty is so bright. Her vocabulary is insane and she is a sponge for learning new things (dog breeds, types of rocks, flowers, presidents, every name of all my friends, and their husbands and babies and dogs and everyone's favorite color and favorite princess...) She knows simple addition/subtraction and can count to 25 but her real love is letters. She's known the sounds of the alphabet for over a year and she can tell us what almost any word starts and ends with and loves figuring out what is also in the word (spelling). She can write her name and mommy. She can sound out simple words. She CANNOT rhyme worth a damn and she is the most uncoordinated kid ever (she has just figured out a 3 wheeled scooter). She doesn't like scary things (this includes villains, tall slides/roller coasters, alligators, etc). She loves cats, the color blue (royal blue to be precise, followed by green, then pink, then purple), princesses (Cinderella), her cat blankie named StrawberryRose, arts & crafts, Henry and bratwurst. She asks me for a baby sister almost every day. "When you are pregnant some other time can we get a girl baby with a blue and green dress? That would be adorable. But. You never know what you are going to get, a girl baby or a boy baby. It's a mystery." I hear this speech often. Naps 2 hours a day, wonder how long this blessing will last...

First Trip to the DENTIST!
Liberty was very excited to see Dr. Patrick (our awesome dentist) for the first time. All week long we had been talking about brushing, flossing, saying AAHHH, opening wide, buzzing sounds, tipping back in a special chair, tickling your teeth, what color mask Dr. Patrick would have, how mommy would get her teeth cleaned too, etc etc etc.
I think the narrative helped - because when we got there and they asked if mommy or Liberty should go first - Liberty said "My turn please"! Plus, I neglected to mention the FISH TANK so that was a cool surprise. She let them look at her teeth, count them, but wasn't fond of the electric cleaner (even though she likes my sonicare) so we will save that for her next appointment. It was a good experience. She even told Dr. Patrick he could come to her "Elmo Birthday Party" and "Eat Elmo Cake".
Pictures of her in the waiting room with her bag of 10 dogs who had to come along.
SAY CHEESE!

18 months old
Recap of what our very tall 1.5 year old is up to these days...
Weight: 28lbs 2 oz, Height: 35.5 inches according to Dr. (99.9%) we think she's 35 inches (99.6). She is as tall as an average 30 month old. 3T in clothes.
Sleeps 7:45pm-7:30am. New to 1 nap: 12:45-3pm.
Hobbies: Pointing out every airplane, bike rides, coloring and stickers.
Says about 40 words, 12 of which a stranger could recognize.
Still calls all babies "mama". LOL I cannot figure this out. Baby was MY third word.
Has a love of lollypops, popsicles and the ability to DIP anything (in ketchup, ranch, italian)
Is DJ TRAK_TOR's biggest fan. Uncle Andy mixes her custom beats.
REALLY loves her weekly music class with Miss Colleen she calls "teacher".
Favorite movies: Milo & Otis and BABIES
Favorite books lately: "If you give a mouse a cookie..." and all the others in that series and Eric Carle books like "Brown Bear". And Gyo Fujikawa books like Baby Animals.
ELMO IS HER #1
BUTTERFLIES are her #2
BABY DOLLS/STUFFED ANIMALS (like beanie babies) are her #3
Tells me almost every times she goes potty in her diaper...so we are giving early potty training a shot here soon. She's used her potty a few times (by luck I'm sure).
Requests to give Cheetah Girl a cat treat at least 5 times a day.
If you ask her to say Flamingo or Music class it sounds like she says "Nicki Minaj". Go figure.
Video (6 min) of her doing some of her animal sounds and words:
*all the chest thumping is her signing "gorilla"
*when she gets distracted and runs away and asks me to pick her up that is because I asked her to say "Trash truck" and she thinks we need to run outside fast to catch the trash truck like we usually do.
*sweet dancing at 4:50

15 months old!
She Runs.
Plays hide and seek - she likes to be the seeker.
She has so many preference. You offer her milk, she shakes her head no, you offer her water she nods her head yes. You get a sippy cup and she shakes her head no, you pick up a different sippy cup with a straw, she shakes her head yes. And then there is the books she'd prefer to be reading...
She knows so many animal sounds and points out so many body parts.
Enjoys panting like a dog.
Best words used all the time: mama, dada, water, up, Elmo
Lots of words in the works: book, ball, cat, milk...
More signs: owie, please, bike, flying (for butterflys, bumblebees, etc)
Uses a plate and (sometimes) utensils now.
Calls all babies "mama" - ?? hahahaha
Likes doing puzzles and finding objects in pictures.
Loves a good dance party.
Into all things girl grooming, including brushing hair, chapstick, deodorant, jewelry, lotion, etc.
Stirs up a mean cup of tea.
Speaks her own gibberish. Especially on her phone (aka calculator).
Sleeps 8pm-8am, naps at 10am and 3pm for 1.5 hours each time.
26.7 pounds - (90%) -
34 inches - (99.8%) - the size of a 2 year old. She'd be the 3rd tallest out of 1,000 girls her age.
Plays hide and seek - she likes to be the seeker.

6 months old
This post is a little tardy...but for those of you tracking my beautiful daughter - here are your Dr. apt stats!
Weight: 19 pounds 7.5 ounces (95th percentile)
Height: 28.25 inches (99th percentile!)
No teeth yet.
Sleeping: 7:30pm-8:00am and 2 naps (1.5 hours long)
She got her first cold last week.
Dr. Z said she's measuring like an 11 month old!?!?! Dear God. Liberty is a growing girl - she can sit independently, and has started scooting (inchworm crawl) - and a few times she has gotten up on all fours and rocked back and forth...so crawling is right around the corner for us. I'm excited one minute and sabotaging her the next - stop growing up baby girl! Or at least slow down please, I'm having so much fun with you just the way you are!
Isn't she so so so pretty?

First Weeks with Liberty - Bathtime and Grandparents
Liberty is almost 3 weeks old and we have had such a good time with her. Gma & Gpa Wheeler, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Andy...all have been by to visit. And lots of friends with the much appreciated food train! Grandma and Grandpa Wyatt came for a couple days too and spoiled us with 2 fancy dinners and lots of cuddle time for Liberty. Joan also brought a photo album of Cameron as a newborn and I think Liberty is a Cameron's mini-me. Liberty's cord fell off on day 9 so we have been able to do a real bath and "tummy time". She really liked the bath water part, but not the towel dry off part. The second bath was a spur of the moment emergency bath due to a lovely poo diaper. The past weeks have been really enjoyable. There were a couple challenges as Liberty was jaundice after coming home and not getting enough milk from me, so we are forced to supplement with some formula until I can increase my milk supply. She's back to her birth weight of 9 pounds and totally healthy now.
Here are the pictures we've taken over the past weeks - click the slideshow to see them all (69).
