Fed the giraffe, saw the Tiger Splash show and visited lots of exotic animals up close and personal. What a park! Happy outing with Mom-mom too!

Zoo with Mommy and Daddy
Our ZOO membership runs out April 30th and we probably won't renew until fall 2013, so we've been trying to cram in as many trips to the Zoo as we can while the weather holds out. One particular Sunday was cool enough and we decided to go do everything we have never done before - like pet the Stingrays!, and ride the camel!, and ride the carousel (okay that one we do alllllll the time). It was a great time together.

Zoo with Grandma Jo and Grandpa Ted
For Christmas one of the gifts we gave the Wyatt grandparents was tickets to come down and do the ZOO! Liberty had a blast and keeps talking about the carousel ride and the camel's pooping. I was so happy to have the Wyatt's with us this particular weekend because it unexpectedly coincided with Cheetah Girl's surgery. Our cat had a blocked intestine (her fault for eating one of Liberty's bath foam toys) - and she had to have emergency surgery. It was really helpful to have the Wyatt's around so Cameron and I could take care of Cheetah and not drag Liberty to the Vet more than I already had!

Zoolights
We promised Liberty we'd go to the zoo only to find out it closed at 4pm on the day we wanted to go at 3:30...so she accepted a trip to cosmo dog park instead. While we figured out the Zoo was closed we also discovered it was the last night for Zoolights (Jan 8) so we said what the heck, we are members, let's go. It was better than I remember it being and Liberty liked it (but this is coming from a kid who enjoys free dog parks).

Zoo with Cheray
On a whim, my friend Cheray and I took our girls to the Zoo. It was a beautiful day and we hadn't been to the zoo in months so Liberty really enjoyed herself. She especially liked the Monkey and Tiger. I need to do a better job of getting Kayla and Liberty in a picture TOGETHER. Next time.

Family in town - FOREVER!
My parents have moved to Fountain Hills! WOOHOO! After a scenic 35 min drive, we can visit with Gma and Gpa, swim, pet Rusty boy - life is good. Here are a couple pictures from move-in weekend with the WHOLE family (Patrick back from Afganistan and Kelly/Doug/Charlie down from Flagstaff). We did the Zoo too:)

Easter Weekend!
Last Easter I was still VERY pregnant (overdue), so this was Liberty's first Easter. Last year was spent with our friends in town since I had to stay close to the hospital, and this year since I'm seeing my Flagstaff family next weekend, we spent it with our same good friends and *NOW* our kids. What a jam packed fun weekend! We took Liberty to the Zoo for the first time with our friends the Pittman's, then tried a Gymboree play class with our friends the Marti's! Lastly we tried to go to Easter Vigil Mass but I had the Mass time wrong and we showed up to an empty parking lot. BLESSING IN DISGUISE! I went by myself at the correct time and it was a 2 hour 45 min Mass with 30 baptisms, all 1,300 parishioners holding candles...it was beautiful but Liberty wouldn't have lasted. She did however like the Zoo and had a blast at Gymboree. On Easter Sunday we went to the Heppner's for a great Easter Egg hunt and a lunch feast!

Overdue at the Zoo! and an Easter BBQ!
Hey that rhymes!
We spent Easter weekend trying to walk this baby out at the Zoo and with friends at an Easter BBQ. We figure we had better make plans or go crazy waiting. I was asked both at the Zoo and at Church "When are you due?" and had to say "Four days ago!" which was strange to say. Sunday's BBQ was hosted by the Marti's who are expecting their baby in 5 weeks. The Pittman's and Heppner's came too - so we had a fun photo shoot with Ella (11months) and Sienna (6 months) and all their Easter dress glory. Liberty can't wait to join her little friends!
